Bluegrass Distillers Single Barrel Toasted Oak Bourbon
Mash Bill Series: Our original mash bill, made with 75% yellow corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. It has aromatic notes of butterscotch and spices with a peppery, spiced flavor. Barrel-aged for at least 3 years.
Aroma
toast, vanilla, and some baking spice

sweet upon entry, with layers of cinnamon, maple and nutmeg
Finish
marshmallow, oak, vanilla, and finishing with toffee near the end
Summary
The Toasted Oak Bourbon is made from Mash Bill #1— 75% yellow corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley — and finished in lightly toasted white oak barrels for at least 21 days. The result is a light and peppery bourbon with butterscotch and spice aromas.
